5 Healthier Starbucks Drinks for Summer

Raise your hand if you are coffee addict just like me?! I love a good hot coffee from our espresso in the winter. But in the summer I cannot go without an iced coffee & Starbucks is definitely my go-to! In addition, to wanting an iced coffee I am always looking for a way to make my favorite drinks a little healthier! Here are a few of my favorites!

I have a small problem where I get hooked on one drink and then I order it over and over for months until I am tired of it and then I find a new one or circle back to an old goodie! These are all ones I have ordered on repeat for months on end!

ICED COCONUT MILK LATTE 

Order – you just say that! Iced latte with coconut milk!

Why I love it – I love this one because it is really not bad for you at all and I prefer the coconut milk to almond because I feel like the coconut gives it good flavor, but almond milk could also be a good alternative!

COLD BREW WITH SWEET CREAM

Order – Cold brew with sweet cream (you could even add a pump of sugar free vanilla if you wanted it to be a little sweeter)

Why I love it – Who doesn’t love a good cold brew? Cold Brew is also normally pretty strong for me and I like a tiny but of flavor in my coffee. The sweet cream adds that bit of sweet and creaminess while still keeping the strong coffee taste.

THE CREAMY DOUBLE SHOT

Order – Iced Starbucks double shot, 1 pump classic, heavy cream (sub almond milk to be healthier). You could even add 1 or 2 pumps of sugar free vanilla if you don’t love the taste of strong coffee!

Why I love it – Okay I have to admit this one is not the healthiest one I get, but if you have been around for a while you know it is like my #1 go to for over a year now!

THE HEALTHY MOCHA

Order – Iced mocha, almond milk, 1 pump mocha, no whip.

Why I love it – I love anything with a hint of chocolate! This one is great if you do not love the taste of strong coffee and have a bit of a sweet tooth.

ICED CARMEL COFFEE

Order – Iced coffee, 1-2 pumps carmel depending on sweetness, no classic, splash of almond milk or 2%.

Why I love it –  Another good one if you do not like really strong coffee! Also this is probably my cheapest drink I order. It is a cheaper spin off of the iced carmel latte!

 

Okay now for my swim suite details! I wanted 2 one pieces for summer that were affordable and were really flattering for the postpartum body. These two amazon swim suits have been ALL I have worn this summer so far.

First up – This wrap swim suite! It comes in SO many colors and is nursing friendly. The back is a tiny bit “cheeky”, but not too much (just f.y.i).

Second – This  blue and white one shoulder swim suite! What I love about this one is the material is really thick. I think this one would be great for the fourth coming up too.
