Welcome to my NEW BLOG!! Wow this new website and rebranding experience has been a labor of love. It took a lot more time and energy than I thought and I cannot believe the day is finally here that y’all are getting to see it all! I had this dream back in January, but with pregnancy and life happening it just got put on the back burner.
Fast forward to a month after I had Asher Preston and I were sitting in bed one night and we were talking through my dreams for this space. He finally said something along the lines of why don’t you just go for it! Give it all you have for a few months and see where it takes you! So here I am on Day 1 of giving this space 100% the time and attention I have always wanted to give it, but was honestly a little scared.
Now why the rebranding and new name? When I started I had NO idea what I wanted this space to look like or what I even wanted to do with it! I named my website lainscreativeco and my instagram lccblog, but I did not put much thought behind it besides that. Now that I have been blogging over a year and have more of a clear vision for my blog I feel like using my name is a more personable! I want to be able to relate to y’all and since a lot of my blog is on Instagram I feel like people see lccblog and are confused by that is even means! So that is how I came up with alainaatwoodblog. Pretty simple and to the point, but I feel like it makes a lot more sense!
What can you expect now from me?
Instagram Post Every Day – Mainly sharing my go to affordable outfits or maybe just a fun post about motherhood!
Try-On Tuesday – Bringing it back!! I will share my favorite clothes from Amazon, Target, Nordstrom, Aerie, and everything in between!
Blog posts once a week – This is where I will share outfit inspiration, makeup routines, my thoughts on motherhood etc.. Blog posts will go live every Monday at 8:00 am!! Except this first week I will have a few extras go live 🙂
I also just want to be better about sharing real life motherhood things!! I was so clueless on everything before I got pregnant and have learned so much that I want to share with y’all!
